xanga may have lost me with all this fanciness. i dont fancy it. haha get it haha.

i am getting over some weird cold-fever sickness thing. it was so strange. i just felt achy and fevery for about 24 hours and now i just feel weird. i looked up meningitis on webmd, just in case, but i dont have a headache, so i dont think that is it.

anyway, crazy weekend even without the crazy illness. heypenny's crazy drummer decided to bail at the last minute but they recouped and played a great show. had some interesting little connections going on around us that were fun to watch. still watching. went to see getting over sarah marshall yesterday while it was raining and ben was out of town, and i would say its pretty good. definitely my favorite of all those kinds of movies.

in updates: heypenny is done in the studio and has some pretty awesome tracks laid down. you like how i say that? yeah, i know what i'm talking bout. it was quite a nice time, minus a few moments. very proud of the boys. we had a strange englishman in our house for two weeks. needless to say, he's no stranger now. and the green pea salon is marvelous, still loving it. its been such nice weather and its so close, that i have been walking to work. just wonderful.

hey xanga friends, i decided to be an active part of your world again! i've been simply a voyeur for the past 6 months...

so travis tagged me about the six quirky things, so i have decided to use that as my re-entry topic and i have also decided to follow that up with six updates, and away we go...

quirky things:

1) i really love for my house to be quite clean, except for the bedroom, for some reason my bedroom can be an absolute wreck for days and days and i have no problem with it

2) i prefer to use smaller sized utensils, i like the small spoons and small forks, its troubling to me when we eat at someone else's house and they lay out big forks to eat with and i have to decide whether to just use it or ask for the smaller one

3) sometimes i have no idea where i am driving, i leave the house to go to the grocery store and then i just drive for a while and after a couple minutes realize that i am not headed toward the grocery store at all and i dont know where i was headed

4) i dont like the feeling of the inside of my ears being wet, i always q-tip them after a shower and if we are somewhere else and i forgot or dont have qtips, then i seriously consider whether or not to take a full shower

5) when ben and i are traveling in the car together and i need the temperature or music changed somehow, i just announce it and wait for him to change it, i dont know why i dont just change it myself, but he always makes fun of me for just being like "i'm cold" and he has to reach over the same distance that i would and change the air setting

6) ingrid wont think this is weird, but when i really like it, i can listen to the same cd, scratch that, same song over and over and over for months, maybe even years, i wont and dont get tired of it, case in point: young folks by peter, bjorn and john...just ask ben


updates:

1) we are kinda sorta house hunting, i have a house that i like, ben has one he likes

2) i am moving to a new salon, i should have done this a year ago

3) heypenny is doing great, they just got band uniforms

4) i have been loving my crockpot

5) we hang out with our friends dj and cindy constantly

6) i am reading blink by malcolm gladwell
